Romney spent the evening displaying his vast international knowledge and steady hand in decision-making ability while the President attacked Romney, telling half-truths about his record throughout the course of the third debate. Romney obviously made a conscious decision to not respond to every attack made by Obama. He decided to show that he can be President. Obama by comparison seemed small, childish, petty, petulant, immature.
Romney rightly said that attacking him is not an agenda.
What impact will this debate have? Well, it is hard to know. It was probably boring at times for people who are not interested in foreign policy, plus there were competing television interests. Hopefully this does not slow the Romney surge and we go into an election with a clear Romney victory.
