The Supreme Court has scheduled a the same-sex marriage cases to be reviewed at their November 20th conference. This means that shortly thereafter, the Court should release information about its decision to either take these cases or not (or a combination since there are multiple cases pending before the Court).

This year will be a big one as this may be the first time same-sex marriage is dealt with squarely by the Court. The cases that could be considered and the rulings that could come down range in scope and impact, depending on the direction the Court decides to take. At this point, this is a waiting game for yet another blockbuster year for the Supreme Court.
