Paul Ryan: How You Know The Democrats Are Scared

On Saturday, Mitt Romney made the announcement that Paul Ryan would be his running mate and the future Vice President of the United States. Romney's choice was a thoughtful one - he found in Ryan a man with intelligence, faith, a belief in American exceptionalism, and a like-minded approach to saving the country. The Republicans are energized. Conservatives like me are excited by the choice - Ryan brings energy, experience, and guts and he compliments Romney well. This is a winning ticket and conservatives are saying, "let's get to work."

Interestingly, the Democrats have been working hard this weekend, also. People like Debbie Wasserman Shultz have been on all the networks since the announcement talking energetically how choosing Ryan was a gift to the Obama campaign and how easy it will be for Obama to win now. Isn't it interesting that for the past 36 hours, Democrats have been working like mad to tell the public how easy of a win this will be - creating stories of how Ryan is against women, elderly, and fuzzy animals?! Isn't that what you do when you feel like you can relax before a big win? Get no sleep and argue with the opposition about how easy it will be? The Democrats are scared and they should be.

In the Romney/Ryan ticket, the nation has a competent, fiscally responsible, experienced team. Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan have hope for the future of the country and confidence in the ability of the people to turn this downward missile of the economy around. They know that when you get government out of the business of the people, jobs increase and people have more confidence in the future. As Paul Ryan has pointed out, if you have a successful business, "you did build that!" Obama has accomplished everything on his wish list and the country continues to suffer. It is worse off today than when he took office. Let's show Obama that this country is a country of freedom, opportunity, and promise. Vote Romney/Ryan in November!

  1. If the Democrats ran Jesus Christ himself you guys would still back the Republican.

Romney/Ryan will be eviscerated in the Fall because the majority of Americans still have empathy for the less fortunate, something neither Romney nor Ryan possess.
