Today the President met with Congressional leadership and afterwards, he and the GOP leadership were falling all over themselves saying how well it went, both promising to "compromise" and "work together."
Well - let me speak as one of the millions of Tea Party members who angrily went to the polls a few weeks ago with one message - STOP OBAMA. Our message is not - "find a way to work with Obama" or "pass bills that both sides agree on." The message is - STOP OBAMA and undo as much damage as possible that has been done over the last 2 years.
There is no compromise to conservatism and despite what the media will tell you, that is not a bad thing! Conservatism is right, big government is wrong. Period. No compromise. As I've said in earlier posts, if that means we sit in gridlock for 2 years until we can kick Obama out and get another president, then fine. I would rather sit with no movement for 2 years than have movement the wrong direction. And, to all in Washington - the majority of America agrees with me, as evidenced by the election. No compromise!!
